About Josh

Do you ever notice the sheer number of bios on websites/personals/Facebook/Myspace/Etc that start with “I hate writing these things, I never know what to put here?” Well, this autobiography isn’t like those other bios. Why? Because I love talking about myself, and I’m not ashamed to admit it.

I’m an awkward 6’3″ nerd from the Northern Reaches of delightful New Jersey, a land of smog and girls with bad hair who think that eating pickles makes you look sexy. In college, I was at one time an English Education major (before I realized how much I hate teenage poetry), a Pre-law major (before I realized how much I hated being so bored lesbian porn looked attractive), a Sociology major (before I realized I wanted to make money when I grew up), a Creative Writing major (see last), and finally graduating with an English Major and minors in Sociology and GLBT studies. (Obviously, I hadn’t learned by this point.)

There’s a number of things I’d like to be when I grow up. They are:

An archeaologist
A journalist
An Astronaut
A Pokemon Master
A professional dinosaur Hunter
Someone’s sexual fantasy
A stand-up comic
Albus Dumbledore
A dictator in Africa
A Dark Lord of the Sith
A Dungeon Master
A professional Blogger. Maybe
A Competitive Breakdancer.

For now, I’m concentrating on the blog part. This site used to be me writing about the World of Warcraft, a game I’m quite the fan of. Now, it’s me writing about everything: Being gay, Glee (notice how they go hand in hand?), feminism, terrible movies, news, gender in video games, Harry Fucking Potter. And hopefully, people will read.
