New Look, New Start!
I’d like to go on record for saying today was the most boring day ever, which is not a very good way to start an exciting blog post! Between getting off of work half a day early, a 24 hour extended maintenance for the Stormstrike Battlegroup AND the forums being down the entire day, and a phone that decided to white-screen-of-death on me yesterday, it’s not surprising to find out that the most exciting part of my day was going for a 4 mile run in 70% humidity with my 47 year old boss. Yeeea.
None of this is me complaining, though! While I’m a little annoyed I won’t be raiding tonight, the backdrop of boredom that has been my day has had the usual powerful effect it has on professional procrastinators- in the sheer absence of amusing things to do, we’re forced to do the one thing we spend most of our life avoiding: being productive. Today, then, gave me my chance to do something I’ve been wanting to do for the past two weeks. I managed to sit myself down in a slightly-too-messy room (I think the boyfriend might be a little mollified to find my idea of not-procrastinating to be cleaning up a website and not my room, oops), surrounded by the sweet sounds of “Heads Will Roll” by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs on an infinite repeat, and stared at my computer screen in a battle of wills until the CSS code gave up and made SoR look like I wanted it to look. In reality, I stared at the screen until the CSS code won, and my friend Naithin was like “You should just make the picture more transparent so people can read it. Fucking smart computer kids. (For the record, the sweet picture now adorning the top-right side of Shaman on Ramen was drawn by Eklo, artist extraordinaire, owner of the Shaman vent, and slightly worse shaman than myself.)
As a result of today’s hard work, I’m proud to present the new Shaman on Ramen (to couple with the fact that I am once again playing my shaman. Turns out that hunters are pretty much as boring as picking up dog feces. I regretted main changing less than a month after I actually did it.) With a new face, a fresh start, and two new iLevel 277 fist weapons, I’m more than excited to announce that Elam is back!
Well its about damned time! Welcome back to the ways of shamanism. Please pick up your winfuries at the door, ensure your fire ele is safety-off and ready for ignition, and set fire to all bows, guns, and various crude implements of projectile throwing.

Welcome back, very much excited for new posts.
But here’s a little criticism:
a) The posts above by zelmaru and daph I can hardly read at all – the class color feature would be much cooler if you could actually choose your class and then the background would adjust itself to “readable”
b) If I hadn’t had these fields prefilled… the icons aren’t 100% clear – but guessable.
It does not seem that I have an easy way of commenting individually to comments with this page setup. Darn. I’ll try doing it here:
