It’s five AM, and I really should be asleep. I spent a good portion of the night pvping with Eklo and Des on the PTR- Enhance pvp can be kind of fun when you’re in full Relentless gear. :S If I didn’t have so much on my plate atm, I’d consider farming gear on Elam and trying to get into it. W/e, maybe next expnsion- too far behind the gear curve for me to care about trying now. xD
The other part of the night was spent watching/reading strats for this man:
I have to admit something here: There is no boss in Wow that I would rather fight than Algalon. There is no other title in Wow that I would like to have than Starcaller (including the Celestial Walker. 
) From a very young age, I’ve been pretty obsessed with stars and space- while it seems very, very unlikely, my dream job is in fact to be an Astronaut. (I know, I’m like five. >.<) So, I’m kind of obsessed with Algalon. Everything about him, from the exploding stars to black holes to the graphics of the fight are everything I wish for in a game…and now that I have the key to his ten-man room, he’s an even more tantalizing target.
And to be honest, I’m not sure why we’ve not made attempts on him yet. With Annah’s (Disc Priest/Enh Shaman, totally awesome) legendary mace, and our epicly good holy Paladin, as well as better gear on our bear and warrior tank’s, I don’t see his single target damage as being that hard for us to deal with anymore. The rest of the fight doesn’t seem that crazy- don’t get hit by cosmic smash. Don’t step in dark holes during anything but big bang (which could be a problem). Don’t die. With our slightly elevated gear level, I can see us(by us, I mean the guild as a whole-if I’m not in on the kill, I’m not in on the kill) getting in it one or two weeks on ten man. I’m just not sure why we aren’t. :/
I do apologize for the break from the normal enhancement babble- doing a kind of angsty rawr progression thing is not really my style (I’m pretty perpetually happy) and not something you’ll see from me often , but something about this one has me more bummed than normal. So, I apologize!

I have a paper on Shakespeare due Monday, have to memorize Coleridge’s “Frost at Midnight” for Wednesday, and have a paper on a poem of my choosing due Wednesday as well, so I’m probably going to start some of that tomorrow/sunday. Hopefully I’ll do some schoolwork during the afternoon, and be on wow for any ten-man shenanigans we might get into tomorrow night before losing myself to schoolwork again.)))
Again, I’m sorry for being emo. I promise it won’t happen that much- I do rather enjoy focusing on the numbers, the math, and how to play more than how I feel. xD

It’s just a matter of timing, to be honest. We’ve run a consistent 10′s team since Naxx, and a consistent “core” since Zul’Aman. Most of us are reluctant to attempt serious content like Algalon without the rest of the team — and between travel schedules, real life, work and the guild’s focus on ToGC, we just haven’t managed to get together and back into Ulduar for serious Algalon or Yogg1 attempts.

Algalon isn’t as bad as you think. Well, not for us enhance guys at least. It is possibly one of the most difficult fights in the game for everyone else but we have little responsibility apart from deeps and blowing Bloodlust.
It is a bitch to heal though. I’ve done the fight as resto as well and it is ROUGH. Tanks in Ulduar level gear just get wrecked and you are doing nothing but spamming them to keep them up.
Give it some time and you’ll get it, dude. Just make sure you make it clear that everyone can’t go AFK, to the bathroom, etc during your 1H of attempts. I tell our 10-man team that they can’t go anywhere for an hour…I don’t care if their dog IS on fire…
@Typer. Yea, he doesn’t seem that incredibly difficult, at least from an Enhancement standpoint. And our tanks are ToGC10/ToC25 geared, same with our heals. I’m thinking once we get into a groove of attempting it, we’ll get it pretty quickly.
I’m hopping onto the PTR to do some resto shaman testing… well, between speccing for Enh and Resto for my character, I figure I should test out the new changes for both on the PTR. Are you going to try for set dungeon/raid runs on the PTR at all?
Yep, I’ll be trying at least. I made a Bear tank and a Disc Priest so that we had a tank/healer available in case we do want to try any raids- specifically, testing ICC.
I’ve also tanked/healed/dpsed all the released 5mans.
